At Adena Road there are several areas of ministry where you can become involved to serve, volunteer, or participate depending on your passions, gifts, and desire. Ladies Group that meets on the first monday of each month at 6:30pm. Contact Sadie Allen this year’s president of BYKOTA for more information at (740) 775-2372We currently have Sunday School classes for all ages from Birth-Adult. We offer 2 adult Sunday School classes and they are taught Steve Stanley and Raymond Delong. If you are interested in helping with any of the children’s classses you can see Cora Comer. Sunday School meets weekly at 9:30am. We have 3 adult small group bible studies that meet weekly at different days and times. You can see the list by going to the website main menu and clicking on meeting times for more information. You can also see Jason Thomas our Minister if you’d like to get involved or have questions about our Small group ministry. If you have children of any age or you feel gifted to work with young people, whether nursery (birth-2 years old), children’s ministry (3 years old-5th grade) or youth ministry (6th-12th grades) we have a place for your kids and we have a place for those who desire to serve. You can see Cora Comer for Nursery or Children’s Ministry and Kerry and Kendra Bellew for Youth Ministry. On Sunday Mornings during our morning fellowship time at 9:20am (after Sunday School) and during our Worship hour we have KIDS worship downstairs for our PreK-5th graders. If you are interested in volunteering to help you can contact Cora Comer. Every Sunday morning during worship hour we have a praise team lead our worship services. If you have a gift of singing or playing any instruments, please see Steve Stanley to get plugged in and use your gifts leading our worship services. We have an audio/visual ministry that takes care of the sound system, lighting, worship lyrics/sermon outlines on our big screen. If you would like to help with sound and the a/v ministry of the church please see Jim Horsley or Steve Stanley. Quarterly we strive to offer some sort of community outreach event to give back to our community and show the love of Jesus. These will be different types of events that are free wither it’s giving away food or clothing, community service, or geared toward children/families.
